I've got a to be released workaround to make TNOC work with 3.6+, under the condition you're using a boot manager (Nlaunchy/NlaunchX or ControlX).

I'll try on HW<J as soon as possible - so not this week.
I'm in Germany, in Baden-Württemberg, one of the two Länder who are forbidding graphing calculators for the Abitur exam.
So, not the best context to find/borrow a HW<J.
