What is so fundamentally different between CX and CX II
I recently acquired a CX II for my stats class, and I wanted to fiddle around with it and got a couple emulators and games on it, I found that most games function just fine, but all of the emulators I have tried have just given me the error message upon loading "This program hasn't been updated to work with your calculator yet" and it says it activates compatibility mode, and I am just met with a black screen. I was under the assumption that the CX II didn't have any major changes to it other then an improved chip and more RAM, are there any emulators in development, or to possibly find a way to get these current emulators compatible?

Re: What is so fundamentally different between CX and CX II
The CX II has neither more RAM, nor more Flash than the CX I - only a faster processor. However, most components in the ASIC have also been changed, some of which were also changed on late CX I models (hardware revision W and above), and those changes do have an impact on some programs, starting with the LCD controller and display: they became 240x320 instead of 320x240.

@Wiemanator64 This is not an error, this is an information warning.
This doesn't prevent the program from running, and this strictly has nothing to do with the CX II as explained by Lionel.

Ah I see. Is there somewhere I may ask to see if anything is in the works to be updated for the CX II?
