I made an error, you need ExtraPutty for file transfers, not Putty.
http://www.extraputty.com/
But anyway it's still after the connection, and thus not on this connection window.

Re: Bricked TI-Nspire CX (black screen)
Hi again
I downloaded Extraputty, got a ZIP file with modified (?) putty exes and opened the putty.exe
But I have to problems because I don't know what to do here.
First: In the connection window in the "modified" version I don't know what to select under Flow Control.
Second: In the ExtraPutty file transfer window whats to do here, I can select Xmodem, but whats with the rest?
And I can't drag and drop the Boot Image
Thanks for your help

Again, connect to your calculator first.
Then, if your calculator is alive and outputting messages, you'll send the file from the log window menu.

Re: Bricked TI-Nspire CX (black screen)
ouh, sorry, I missunderstand you.
I tried connecting the calculator to the putty thing and pressed
but the screen is still black D:
Maybe there's a loose connection :/

The screen will remain black in all cases.
But if your calculator is alive, and if the connections and setup are right, you should get some lines in the log window.

Re: Bricked TI-Nspire CX (black screen)
Sorry, I'm a headless chicken...
I don't think this is the log window, but I get a error message there (I check the connections again)
Can you show me some screenshots so I can find all the stuff I need? Because again, I'm a noob
Thank you again for helping a brainless guy

Re: Bricked TI-Nspire CX (black screen)
Then apparently, COM1 is not the right choice.
Are you sure it's COM1 which is added in the device manager once you connect the USB/TTL interface ?

Re: Bricked TI-Nspire CX (black screen)
When I plug the USB/TTL interface into one of the USB ports, then under "printers and other devices" (or whatev its called in english ) and I click on Information, then theres no COM port to see... But there only two USB ports, so I try it with COM2 (if thats correct)

Re: Bricked TI-Nspire CX (black screen)
If there is no additional COM port when you connect the interface to the computer, then there is a problem.
Maybe with the interface driver...
