Hi! Recently I read the latest API Reference Guide and found a new function: platform.getDeviceID(). However, when I updated to OS 4.2, tried it on Jens' Script Editor, I couldn't find this function, even after I set apiLevel as '2.7'. Does anyone know what went wrong?
Thanks.

Re: platform.getDeviceID()?
Hi,
In fact, this is pretty new (well, with 4.2, which reminds me I need to finish updating Inspired-Lua...!), and I suppose Jens' editor has an apilevel set to some fixed value, which wouldn't have this function.
If you remove the apilevel setting or juste create a new script in the latest computer software, it should work

I have changed apiLevel and...
- Code: Tout sélectionner
require 'asi'
So I wonder if getDeviceID() works properly in OS 4.2.

Re: platform.getDeviceID()?
It does, I've tested it and works fine on my CX CAS.
On the computer software, though, it gives an empty string IIRC, so be warned.
