If you use Ni-MH batteries as your Nspire CAS+'s power suppliment, the CAS+ cannot detect the battery level correctly. It may suddenly tell you "Low battery" when the batteries are full, and then suddenly tell you that the batteries are full again. What's more, sometimes the CAS+ will think that the batteries are still full though they are lack of power, and then your CAS+ will go wrong. For example,it may reboot, and then halt when rebooting. And sometimes,it can reboot done, but it will get into a strange situation:There is no axis in graphing application, though you didn't select "hide axis".And sometimes, the situation can be worse:The display can go wrong:The screen can be totally black or white, and sometimes all the fonts are thicker and not at the correct place.
Absoutlely, you will lost all the things that are not saved.
So,if you have to use a Nspire CAS+ with Ni-MH batteries for daily use ,please remember to recharge them regularly--
