Salut à tous,

Il y a quelques jours, TI publiait sur l'App Store (iOS) ses applications TI-Nspire et TI-Nspire CAS pour iPad, et nous avions bien couvert cet événement.

Mais très rapidement (quelques heures après la sortie), celles-ci se virent retirées pour problème de "sécurité" / paramétrage App Store.

Et bien, les voici de nouveau disponibles aujourd'hui 19 Février, et on peut même noter des améliorations :

Nouveautés de la version 3.4.1
- Nouveauté : iOS 6.1
- Nouveauté : compatible avec l’iPad écran Retina
- Améliorations : Correction de bugs et optimisations

A few days ago, TI released on the iOS App Store its iPad TI-Nspire Apps (CAS and non-CAS), and TI-Planet covered this event live.

However, the app got pulled out of the App Store quickly, by TI, for "security" / app store issues.

Well, they are now back on the App Store, with a changelog noting things we weren't even expecting then

Version 3.4.1 :
- Added: iOS 6.1 support
- Added: iPad with Retina support
- Improved: Bug fixes and optimizations

So, better than expected

Voici aujourd'hui pour vous un tout nouveau capteur Vernier très rare pour nos calculatrices, le spiromètre!

Il s'agit d'un capteur destiné à mesurer un débit respiratoire, ce qui est utile par exemple dans le contexte des tests d'effort.

Voici donc le capteur en tant que tel:

Il est constitué d'une enceinte qui fait passer le flux d'air à travers un treillis métallisé qui se déforme en conséquence. Cette déformation produit une variation de résistance électrique et par conséquent de tension qui est alors convertie en mesure selon le principe des capteurs Vernier analogiques.

Notons que cette mesure est ici comptée positivement quel que soit le sens du flux d'air. Le capteur ne fait donc aucune différence entre une inspiration et une expiration.

Destiné à être fixé sur la bouche du patient, le capteur vient avec deux pinces bouche-nez pour éviter les erreurs de mesures:

Elles sont munies de coussinets mousse pour le confort du patient.

Des embouts jetables sont destinés à être saisis par la bouche du patient pour un maximum d'hygiène.

Voici par exemple le capteur prêt à mesurer un flux d'air expiré

Dans le cas où l'on demande au sujet d'inspirer, il convient d'utiliser le capteur en combinaison avec l'élément suivant:

Cette enceinte fait passer le flux d'air à travers un filtre d'aspect cotonneux. Il s'agit d'un filtre biologique antibactérien, fort utile en classe si plusieurs élèves utilisent le même capteur à la suite: il n'est en effet pas envisageable d'envisager une désinfection complète de l'enceinte après chaque utilisation individuelle.

Voici donc maintenant le capteur prêt à mesurer à la fois des flux d'air expirés que inspirés!

Il y a quelques jours j'ai vu ma petite sœur jouer à un jeu de ce genre, et vint aussitôt en moi le désir impérieux de créer mon propre LoveTest pour Ti-Nspire CX

Bonjour tout le monde,

Aujourd'hui est un grand jour !
En effet, TI s'apprête à sortir ce jeudi 7 février 2013 ses applications TI-Nspire pour iPad (versions CAS et non-CAS, comme les machines physiques, donc).
C'est un grand jour, disais-je donc, car en effet, TI répond enfin à l’évolution en cours du marché/secteur de l'éducation vers un monde beaucoup plus numérique et mobile... sur des plateformes plus communes, puissantes, ouvertes aux applications tierces, connectées...
TI s'adapte donc au changement de moeurs de plus en plus d'étudiants et d'écoles qui ont déjà intégré des solutions plus complètes pour l'enseignement, comme l'iPad (qui dispose sur son App Store de beaucoup d'applications à but éducatif, par exemple).

On avait déjà vu récemment avec Steve Arnold (en coopération avec Jim Bauwens qu'on ne présente plus), une couche Nspire-Lua pour un interpréteur Lua en Javascript, qui permet d'exécuter assez de code Nspire-Lua pour pouvoir lancer des applications et jeux originellement faites pour les TI-Nspire, et ceci sur n'importe quelle plateforme assez puissante supportant le Javascript (donc entre autre les tablettes), mais c'est ici une réimplémentation native complète de tout l'écosystème (Calculatrice, Graphiques&Géométrie, Tableur, Notes...) de la TI-Nspire qui est disponible sur votre tablette ! Transférez-y directement vos fichiers .tns comme sur votre TI-Nspire physique, et vous profiterez de votre contenu habituel, mais, entre autres, sur un écran de meilleur qualité

Nul doute qu'une version pour les tablettes sous Android devrait arriver à un moment ou à un autre. Today is a great day !
Indeed, TI is releasing, this thursday (Feb. 7th, 2013), its TI-Nspire iPad applications (both CAS and non-CAS versions, like the Nspire devices themselves).
It is a great day, as I was saying, since, in fact, TI finally answers (and plays a role in) to the evolution in the education market towards a more digital and mobile world... on platforms getting more and more common, powerful, open to third party applications, connected ...
TI therefore changes to be well integrated with what students and schools begin to use as comprehensive solutions for education, like the iPad (which has on its App Store many educational applications, for example).

We had seen already recently with Steve Arnold (in cooperation with Jim Bauwens), an Nspire-Lua layer for a Javascript Lua interpreter, which is able to run enough Nspire-Lua code in order to launch lua script originally made for the TI-Nspire, and this on any platform powerful enough and capable of running Javascript (so, tablets, for example), but here it's a full native reimplementation of the whole Nspire ecosystem (Calculator, G&G, Spreadsheets, Math Editor...) available on your tablet ! Directly transfer your .tns files up on your iPad, and you'll be able to enjoy your content on a better device with a nicer screen, for instance

Another good news ? The price for both the CAS and non-CAS version is the same : $29.99 !

No doubt an Android version should be released at some point. Indeed, even if the iPad is still selling well, the sales of Android tablets are catching up with iPad ones, thus following the evolution that has made the iOS smartphones sales lower recently.

The Australian App Store already has it available, it's just a question of time for Europe and USA

José David Abad nous propose sur Ti-Calc un programme Lua pour les Nspire équipées des OS 3.2 ou supérieur (et oui, ça file les OS) permettant de créer rien de moins que des programmes équipés d'interfaces graphiques utilisateurs en Lua, c'est à dire des applications complètes avec des widgets variés du genre boutons, boites à cocher, tableaux, boites de dialogue, fonds de fenêtre, et tout ça grâce à une seule classe qui regroupe tous les signaux, focus et autres évènements : MasterBox !

Le projet est en fait une énorme classe MasterBox qui s'occupe de tous les widgets et de tout ce qui leur est lié : évènements, signaux (comme les clics d'un boutons), focus (quand on rend une zone de texte active par exemple), et vous avez juste à définir les widgets de la classe !

Le tns se présente un peu comme OCLua : un document avec deux pages, un interpréteur Lua (dans notre cas il contient la définition de classe MasterBox) et un éditeur de texte pour créer ses programmes. Je n'ai malheureusement pas pu le tester par manque de temps, de connaissances Lua (ahem) et surtout de Ti-Nspire (:D), alors je vous laisse faire ça

L'auteur nous indique cependant que le programme est encore en développement, et qu'il est très probable que des erreurs se soient glissées quelque part dans les 60Ko du programme compilé

Une documentation plutôt complète est disponible sur Google Code mais si vous ne parlez pas Espagnol, vous allez avoir un peu de mal avec cette doc ...
