nspire with clickpad dvt 2.0 cannot install os 3.1

Hello everyone, I am a Chinese high school student, I would like to ask you a question. I bought a nspire with clickpad last week.
and it was an os 1.7 dvt system.I try to install os 3.1.0.392,but when it was sending new system the link software warning that the os is Damaged or not support.Then I try to install os 2.1.1.38,it installed sucessfully ,but when reboot,it stopped at loading operating system.At last I install os 1.7.1.50 ,it finally worked well.How can I install os 3.1.0.392 on my dvt 2.0?

Hi.

Since you were apparently able to install OSes 1.7.1.50 and 2.1.1.38, it means your DVT2.0 prototype was restamped as a production model.

You need to install a 1.4-1.7 production OS, which should update your Boot2 to 1.4. Apparently you did it.
So now you should be able to install OS 2.1 and then 3.1.
