Recently I was trying to install Linux on my calculator with dualboot with this tutorial viewtopic.php?f=57&t=18920#updatecx, but because my calculator has now version 4.4 I followed the nloader tutorial viewtopic.php?f=57&t=21094 and after that I made the steps on the first tutorial no install ControlX and Linux.
The thing is, when I try to flash the linux image into the ext partition, it says it has no space left but there´s nothing on it.
What should I do now, or nLoader doesn´t support this?
Can´t install linux on extpart no space nloader+controlx

Well apparently your ExtendeD partition is zero-sized, so nothing is going to fit into it.
Could you show us a picture of the BtMg home screen with all partitions informations ?
Thanks.

Then indeed, your ExtendeD partition is zero-sized.
You need to resize it in order to install Linux.

How can I resize it? It seems that nsPartMagic doesn´t list any ext partition. Does "reallocate FileS" have anything to do with it?

Indeed, in order to add space to the ExtendeD partition, you need to move the FileS partition.
But note that this operation doesn't preserve the FileS partition content. You're going to need to reinstall the OS and Ndless.
Are you sure your calculator is compatible ? Because you're mentioning both nLoader and ControlX.
What's your calculator hardware revision ?

Ok, thanks.
Then sorry.
You need ControlX in order to be able to boot a Linux partition.
But ControlX needs nBoot, and nBoot isn't compatible with hardware revisions W+.
You can't install and run Linux this way.

Re: Can´t install linux on extpart no space nloader+controlx
Oh men. That´s disappointing. I really thinked that nloader was just a new "nboot", but now I understand it isn´t.
Just one more question, how can I erase the ControlX file I flashed into the diags partition, because it really doesn´t make any sense to have it?
Also, is there any reason to have nLaunch installed besides running nswitch to install CAS OS? Just for curiosity reasons this one.

You can't erase the ControlX image, but you can overwrite it with a TI-Nspire Diagnostic image.
nLaunch is also useful to automatically install Ndless on each reboot.
