TI-nspire CX rounding problem

Unread postby kazoo » 28 Nov 2018, 04:37

Hey guys,
I have a TI-nspire CX and I'm wondering how to I can exactly get the non-rounded value of a decimal point on a graph to convert it into a fraction? I need to do that for trigonometry and my calculator always rounds it, so I can never get the good fraction? I need to be able to get a value let's say 0.666 not to stop there and to go to 0.6666666... forever to get 2\3 and not 333\500?
Thanks,
Kazoo

Hello, for some particulars values, you can do the folowing ....
One of the advantages of Ti nspire is that the activities are "connected":
In your graphe, you have f1(x) for example, you note your particular value (x or y) and in a another page of the same activitie you can obtain the exact value :
See examples in attached image.
