Teacher updated to 5.4

Hello,
this is a small rant about my teacher updating my calculator, without asking and without telling me. He litterally told me he would put my calculator into test mode, but at first i noticed that the ndless files were deleted. Then I checked the Software version and it said 5.4.😢As you can imagine I was very sad that my 150€ calculator can’t do anything else than calculating anymore.

I haven’t checked the news here since a long time and wanted to also ask if maybe the backspire program was updated to support jailed devices. Or if I can still downgrade using maintenance mode or something, because it is „only“ on version 5.4 and not something like 6.2.

Unfortunately, Backspire needs Ndless.
And Ndless still hasn't been updated for 5.4+ versions.

very sad, can I brick my calculator or is it the device foolproof? Because I want to try stuff out with maintenance mode to trick it into accepting an older version or try patching the bootsector by flashing something.

Or is it really IMPOSSIBLE to downgrade? Maybe someone has‘nt figured it out yet.

You can't brick your calculator by using the maintenance menu, but it won't help you downgrading.
I am sorry, but it's impossible to downgrade from 5.4+ for now.
