TI nspire CX CAS doesn't turn on correctly

Hi! I'm new here, I just bumped into this amazing website while searching hours upon hours for a solution to my problem, which is as follows:

I just bought a TI nspire CX CAS calculator and I'm experimenting an issue when I turn it on. Every time I turn it on, instead of taking me to the main screen with all the "New Document", etc, options, it loads a screen with a progress bar that then takes me to a black and white screen with a clock on it. After waiting some time it finally takes me to the main screen and everything else works out fine. I'm able to use the calculator without problems, but upon turning it off manually and then turning it on immediately afterwards it loads the progress bar all over again, making me wait about 2 or 3 minutes to finally get me to the main screen. Normally I wouldn't care for this type of problems, but during an exam every minute counts, and I'm not comfortable with having this problem after spending so much money on buying the calculator.

So for troubleshooting I tried going to the maintenance menu and following the 4 options, including reinstalling the OS. The problem persists. Initially I though the battery was at fault because the calculator turned on just fine when connected to a power supply, but after trying with a new battery the problem persisted. Only when connected it turned on correctly and took me directly to the main screen of the calculator.

I'm at a loss for what to do next, and I would greatly appreciate any help that led me to the right direction in solving this issue.

You can try to have a look at the conf:
menu - settings - calculator configuration - hibernation value.
Mine is 4 days.

Thank you for your reply, I had it configured to 4 days too, and I even changed it to "Never", and the problem persists.
