python not working on TI84 Plus CE Python edition

Did you try updating the operating system or the Python application ?

Yeah I tried. I also cleared all memory and reinstalled python but nothing worked.

What does the Self-Test ([mode]+[alpha]+[ln]) show, on the versions screen, towards the top right? (You can take a pic if you can't screenshot it, I forgot if it's doable there)

POB 1.21 is very surprising, mine is 3.10 for instance.
I wonder if there's a way to force-update the ARM firmware :/

Isn't 1.21 the default placeholder Python firmware flashed in factory ?
It should get updated to a fully working Python firmware on the first opening of the Python app, which apparently wasn't the case...

So the calculator just decided to not update python? Is there a way to manually do that?

More accurately, the Python app is updated according to what you said, but for some reason the app itself didn't update the Python chip.

It would indeed be useful to force-reflash the chip... but idk of a way to do that. I'll ask around
