downgrading Nspire CX

Hi there,

i have just finished downgrading my Nspire CX 3.9 to Nspire CX CAS 3.1. But now I can't get Ndless on it since it only works on 3.6 and upwards.

Is there a way to get Ndless to work on my current Nspire CX CAS 3.1?

Or can I simply upgrade it again to OS CX non-CAS 3.6 or 3.9 and then downgrade it to OS CX CAS 3.6? Or will that only work for downgrading to OS CX CAS 3.1?

Hi !

Just install the Ndless 3.1 files :

I have tried it, and it didn't work. The popup on my calculator stating that "ndless is installed" never popped up. Maybe its because I have a OS of CX CAS on it and the calculator itself is CX non-CAS originally. Maybe that is why it doesn't work properly?

Will in the downgrading to CX CAS 3.6 OS work?

No it should work.

Verify that your /ndless is directly in the "my documents" root folder.
Send the Ndless 3.1 ressource .tns file in this /ndless folder, and overwrite the already existing file.
Then send the Ndless 3.1 installer .tco file.

Oh, so do I have to already have the original Ndless files in the "ndless" folder? And just overwrite the ndless_resources file only?
