Ok, so there are 2 steps as we need to reprogram the Boot1 and the Boot2.
Reprogramming the Boot1 has to be performed first.
For the moment, let's just send all files to your Nspire.
- On your Nspire, delete both "boot1.img" and "boot2.img" files from your "ndless" folder.
- Download FlashBoot1 and send the "Flash_NOR_1.2.2344.tns" file to your Nspire in the "ndless" folder.
archives_voir.php?id=4184- Download FlashBoot2 and send the "FlashBoot2_1.2.2344.tns" file to your Nspire in the "ndless" folder.
archives_voir.php?id=4165- Download the TI-Nspire 1.4 boot2, rename it to "boot2.img.tns" and send it to your Nspire in the "ndless" folder. The Nspire must list it as "boot2.img".
archives_voir.php?id=4614(don't mess it with the boot2.img.tns file you've just sent me)- I'm sending you a special patched Boot1 image for your model by email. Rename it to "boot1.img.tns" and send it to your Nspire in the "ndless" folder. The Nspire must list it as "boot1.img".
(don't mess it with the boot1.img.tns file you've just sent me)If you've correctly put those 4 files on your Nspire, we can now mod it into a commercial model.
Only do it if you're sure you've performed everything correctly: flashing a bad boot1/boot2 image may brick your calculator permanently.
- run Flash_NOR_1.2.2344
- and if there is no error message, run FlashBoot2_1.2.2344
In case of an error message, stop the process immediatly, don't reboot the calculator and contact us.
If everything went well, you can reboot your calculator.
It should reboot without the little stamp in the top left-hand corner, take some time as it will remove OS 1.2.2344, and ask you for a new OS.
Good luck!
