All right... If the problem is still here, I guess you could see with TI-Cares and explains the problem. Maybe they will rend you back another calculator (depends if it's under guarantee, though, I guess)

Right from my experience with Windows 7 anyway : nothing would work (/get detected) until I disabled it.

I'll edit and say "may" in my post, but users will have to do what their computer will make them do anyway

Well, I'd attribute your problems to something else, otherwise I'd have had far more complaints from users over the years, and upstream probably would, as well.

So I'll repeat: it's not necessary to disable the filter driver for TI's software to work after TILP was installed. The point of the filter driver is precisely to avoid having to make manual switches between drivers...

Yeah, it may have been something with my setup, but weirdly enough I haven't messed with USB on this compute, so... I don't know what could cause this issue.

(For me, it's even faster to boot up the Linux VM and get tilp working there, anyway, at least the OS doesn't have these crappy USB limitations

)

in begining i didn't use TILP ... and i have try it, but TILP cannot conect with my calculator (I don+t know why, because TI nspire Cas Student software can connect) ...

In diagnostic menu, then get me information, that charging is OK, and battery is on 100% ... then i have restart my calculator, and want to install my OS... and all is just it was in beging .... here is screen ...

If calculator isn't connect with computer, is just the icon with "gear" ... withouth other gear and low battery!

As I wrote, making TILP work after TINCS was installed (and reciprocally, making TINCS work after TILP was installed) requires a special procedure described in the README

If the calculator won't charge even in the diags software, and unplugging the battery for a while before plugging it again and trying to charge through the diags software, then you indeed have battery problems.
