[Solved] TI link OS corrupted can't update.

Hello. I want to update OS in my TI nspire CAS. I have 1.1.9170 from 2007. Downloaded 3.9.0.463 from TI site and when I use update OS function it says that OS is corrupted. I've tried old version 1.2.2394 and it passes but when calculator starts installing it, again OS is corrupted but now on calc screen not PC.
Boot1 version: 1.1.8916
Boot2 version: 1.1.8981
How am I supposed to upgrade OS safely?

Hi.

1.1.9170 is not a production version but a development version (which means your calculator is a prototype).
You cannot update it with downloadable production versions, it'll just complain that they are corrupted.

You need to mod your calculator for it to accept production versions.

The good news is you can skip part II (the hardest step), since 1.1.8xxx/9xxx versions have USB support.

Oh I will definetly try it tomorow with Google translate. Im happy because i have FTDI module so don't need to order anything.

You don't need the FTDI module, it's only useful for prototypes with older Boot2 (1.1.7xxx and older) which don't support USB.

Are you sure your calc is a CAS model?
Did you follow the tuto to mod your calc?

And which TI-Nspire Computer Link are you using?
If I remember well, for prototype you must use 1.4
