No, nLoader is already installed, removing the OS doesn't remove nLoader (linked to the Boot2).

I don’t quite unterstand. So what should i do to run the newer version of the CAS OS ?

1. Delete the current OS :
   
   1. Press and hold the reset button on the back for 2 seconds.
   2. Release it ; the calculator should remain off.
   3. Press and hold

   4. Without releasing the keys, turn on the calculator.
   5. Once the calculator is on, you may release all keys.
   6. The maintenance menu should appear at around 50% of the loading bar ; type

      to delete the OS.

Hi, i've followed this guide 2 or 3 years ago when i joined my university. I bought the nspire on high school and we weren't allowed CAS calculators but in university it's free game. I want to know if i have to stay on the 4.5.0 or can update to the latest 4.5.5 without bricking my calc. Thx

Ah, I think I still haven't updated nLoader for versions 4.5.5.
So you shouldn't update to a version higher than 4.5.4.
