I tried tinspirecx_4.4.0.532.tco and tinspirecx_4.5.2.8.tco
Both did the same thing.

Ok. Could you try to install OS 4.4 again ?

Thanks, I was fearing this.
That's because you tried OS 4.5.2, which just locked your calculator.

Then I'm sorry, you cannot install an OS older than 4.5.2 anymore.
Which means you can't install Ndless anymore, you can't fix things through software, you can't complete nLoader setup...

Try to install OS 4.5.2 again (there is nothing else to try anyway now), and see if it still reboots and uninstalls itself (be sure to hold :nses: :nsme: :nsmo: at the screen with the clock).
If it still does, then the only way out I can think of will be to reflash the Boot2 partition through a cheap USB/TTL interface :

Hey, does this method work on Ti Nspire CX revision AE? Mine is on OS version 4.5.0. The boot1 version is 4.0.1.43 and the boot2 version is 4.4.0.8, and the model number on the back is N-1118AE if that helps.

Ok, sooo I followed this tutorial to the letter, and my AB revision ti Nspire CX (non CAS) will not boot the nLdr partition. It gets stuck at 10% as seen below:

Image

I used the diag boot combination :nses: :nsmo: :nsme: to boot to the working boot partition. I then undid and uninstalled everything after trying like 3 different supported OSes (4.5.3, 4.5.0, 4.4.0) to see if OS version was the issue. Still froze there after like 10 tries building the nloader image.

What do I do now??

Please help. I really want the CAS functionality on my non-CAS nspire CX if I can.

Anyway you won't be able to use CAS on a non-CAS TI-Nspire CX anymore.
The CAS patchers needed for OS versions 3.9+ were permanently removed from github.

A 10% freeze is quite strange, doesn't ring a bell here.
It would mean the calculator is still in the Boot1, and apparently there is no error icon and no error message...

Did you try the reset button on the back ?

You can also try to boot from the diags partition :
  • hold :nses: :nsme: :nsmo:
  • without releasing the keys press and release the reset button on the back
  • if the calculator doesn't turn back ong automatically, still without releasing the keys type :nsho: and twice if needed
Does this change anything ?

I did boot from the DIAGS part to get back to the OS, then I flashed the stock boot partitions by extracting them from the .tns for the firmware and flashing the boot2 image with BtMg. Its now running stock firmware and OS on 4.5.3 at the moment.

I just have tried this many times, and it never gets past that 10% on nLoader.
