Yes, I meant, it's a separate thread.
But I didn't pay enough attention to the follow up... "too bad" it got deleted, but it's probably not a huge loss, if it didn't even behave properly to Asm programs, it's probably quite an unusable version...

I think they just disabled assembly programs, but once they realized the test LED security was good enough, they enabled them again.

More interesting would be to try to figure out where it is crashing.

I wonder if the development boot code even checks the signature of the OS?

I can't install the EVT2 apps on a real calculator.

K-ELG2-DVT prototype with Boot Code 5.0.0.0082.

I can install any app with a version 5.0.0.0082 or newer.
But apps with a version 5.0.0.0062 or older, including the ones attached above, just get rejected at the validation step.

Either the RSA signing keys are different...
Either there are some additional checks for the targeted hardware/ASIC.

1) can k-elg2-dvt install production OSes?

2) do you have any program like imgmanip but for 8eu/8ek files? Like that can dump the keys, extract code, print info, etc?
