I see that there is an OS "2.09" for FX-7400GII here:
https://bible.planet-casio.com/common/c ... 400_g3/os/This is strange to me because I thought that FX-7400GII had never been updated past 2.04.
Where did this come from? Does it have the battery indicator like 2.09?

It must be some sort of mistake. If you look at the date, it says 2016, so even before OS 2.04.
Maybe it's a 2.03 with a typo ?
Edit : my bad, it's an official one. On planet-casio they said it's coming from the updater

2.09 was dumped from a Graph 25+E.

So I assume nothing labeled 2.05 or higher exists for the international 7400? also, does it have a battery indicator?

Indeed, the higher preinstalled version on the fx-7400GII is 2.04.
The battery indicator is present on 2.05 and 2.09.

So in theory it would be possible to install this OS on a 7400GII to get the exam mode and battery indicator?
