Problem with Casio Graph 75 AC/ON key

Last week I dropped my calculator from a first floor. The only damege is a loose key, the [AC/ON] key. Sometimes when I press the [SHIFT] key, my calculator switches off. Then when I want to switch it on again I just have to press the [AC/ON] key, or shake the calculator, or even blow onto the [AC/ON] key.

Is there any way for me to modify the casio OS so that I have to enter a different key combo in order to turn the calculator off?

I'm using 02.05.0201 OS version.

Hi.

I doubt it's possible to reassign the [AC/ON] key.
Indeed, the ON key is usually linked to specific hardware and code.

Couldn't you just open the calculator and maybe switch the [AC/ON] and [DEL] key contacts ?

I could do it. On the one hand, if decide to do so, my calculator would not shut down. However, on the other hand, some numbers would be deleted as I write.

Ah, so it's the [DEL] key which is being triggered then... :(

Maybe retry with another of the similarly sized keys (4 rows from the bottom).

If the problem persists, maybe completely removing one of those keys. The less important one according to you...
