Hi, I hope I've selected the right place to place my questions, I'm not very good with French and English is not my main language, so... xD
I've got a CX CAS with OS 4.4.0.532 and I want to be able to install 2 Operating Systems on the same calculator.
I've been reading a lot of threads in this forum, and I'm aware of the nLaunchy, nBoot and ControlX, I've found a guide to install a Ti OS and Linux, but I want to install 2 Ti OS.
If someone can help me with this I would do a video for the community with a step-by-step guide, so the solution of my problem could help others too that are still noobs dealing with Ti software.
I know that I could try the Linux tutorial, but I really don't want to brick my CX CAS, that's why I'm asking your help to be sure that I'm doing the correct procedures.
Can I install two OS 4.4 on the CX CAS?

Re: Can I install two OS 4.4 on the CX CAS?
Anyway, you can't have 2 TI-Nspire OS installed at the same time.
There are just more or less quick ways to switch your OS by installing another one.
So I can't really see the point in being able to switch from 4.4 CAS to 4.4 CAS.
Could you explain what you are trying to achieve ?

Re: Can I install two OS 4.4 on the CX CAS?
On test/exams we must clear the CX CAS memory completely, and on every test/exam, I must upload all of my programs, input all serials to activate 8 different programs (step-by-step programs), upload the documents to my PC before the memory reset...
So I would like to have:
Boot1: Clean OS
Boot2: All of my programs
Then on test/exam days I would just use the Boot1 and I wouldn't have to create backups and install all of my programs over and over again.

Ok.
How is the memory cleared for exams ?
Do you clear it yourself ?
Is the calculator then checked during the exam ? How ?
Thanks.

I clear it myself, I must delete every document in the "Documents" folder, then the teacher comes to my seat and checks if the Documents folder is empty and only then the test/exam starts.

Re: Can I install two OS 4.4 on the CX CAS?
Then you have a great official feature for this, it's the exam/test mode.
Turn the calculator off then hold while turning it back on to enable it.
In exam mode, the /documents content will be hidden.
After the test, you just have to disable the exam mode and you'll find back all your files.

Just pressing a button and the problem is solved, lol.
And what do I need to press to disable the exam mode?

You must send a specific file to the calculator.
