Deleted OS of my Nspire CAS, can't send a new one

I deleted the OS of my TI-Nspire CAS Touchpad via the maintenance menu, but now I can't send a new one to it.
I was actually trying to get nLaunch on it, but that didn't send just nothing happens on the calc.
It is completely stuck at the "Operating System ot found. Install OS now." screen.
Even when I try to send a normal OS to it, nothing happens on the calc, however for both an error shows on the PC.
But it is not really useful:
Msg: hand-held returned an error (not caught).
Cause: hand-held returned an uncaught error. Please report log

I thought that maybe it would help to delete everything, so I did go to the maintenance menu and pressed 4.
But then I also couldn't send files anymore to the calculator, which I was able to do before...

Does anyone know what I have to do to get my nspire working again?

I don't know, but maybe it can help to add what the production code thing is. ( I actually don't know how to call it, you know, that code that contains the revision )
So that is: P-0510B

Thanks.

I use TiLP, because I am on Linux.
I also tried the official TI-Nspire Computer Link via the virtual machine, but that also gave an error. That said that the batteries were too low, though I can't imagine that since I had the calculator on the cable the whole time, so it shouldn't be that empty...
I also tried the Computer Link via Wine, but there I can't connect the calculator because I can't connect a usb-device in Wine.

Indeed, if the batteries are too low the calculator is going to reject any OS transfer.

You should retry with new batteries.

I don't have AAA batteries in it. I have a rechargeable battery.
Or does it really require that I also put AAA batteries in it then?
I would suppose there wouldn't be a problem with rechargeable battery if that is charged. Though I can't see how much the battery is charged...

Well, yes it seems to work now.
So apparently the calculator only accepts an OS when it is deleted, if there are AAA batteries in the calc?
I mean, that is not really logical...

But putting AAA batteries in the calculator has solved the problem, thanks!

Is there a way to workaround this. My nspire cx battery circuity is broken, so only work with charge cable plugin without the battery. Now it seems not possible to receive any OS.

Indeed, the TI-Nspire CX won't accept receiving a new OS if the battery is detected as missing or too low.
