Ive been trying to get the key combo and I think im doing it right... My question is, is this fixable, can I flash the boot2 on it? I do have a boot2 dump that came from this calculator.

What's the calculator datestamp ?

It's the little code on the back at the end of the serial.

Like this, you need an USB/TTL interface :
39

But according to your posts, the Boot2 seems ok.

Let's check, try this combo :
  • hold the 3 keys :nsdo: :nsen: :ns2:
  • without releasing them, press and release the reset button on the back
  • if the calculator doesn't turn back on automatically, still without releasing the 3 keys, press :nsho: , 2 times in a row if necessary

It must work, if it doesn't you're doing something wrong.

Once you'll manage to make it work, retry both :nses: :nsme: :nsmo: and :nsdo: :nsen: :nsee: combos the same way.

Hi critor sorry for the late response, I kinda left it aside but now that I saw that I tried it again and after doing the first key combo, it gave me a 0% bar with a gear and a yellow triangle.Btw an oftopic thing, a friend of mine owns an Nspipre CX new revision (AB Serial) and the touchpad stoped working since I already knew that this Nspires have a realy bad designed connector in the middle I just pressed and it worked again altough it only works for a few days, I tried to open by removing the 4 screws under the rubber pads but I still wans't able to open that thing,if you know how to open that thing I wouls be glad to know.

Hi, don't worry. :)

Unfortunately, TI-Nspire CX hardware revision W and above are very hard to open.
2 screw heads are hidden under the screen frame, on the left and right of the touchpad.
So you have to remove the screen frame first.

It's very likely that the screen frame and/or case will be damaged during the process. :(

Oh that sucks, Its so stupid because that issue happens quite a lot because of a faulty design, it happened to mine and to some of my friends and since I already knew what it wad I was able to fix, but this time on the new revision its just impossible to open that thing
