I don't know if you all have seen my version of Pokemon yet, you can download the latest version here: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fi ... 38297.html

That is of Pallet Town. There are more leading to Veridian, I believe it is called, but not all of it is complete. The buildings are not yet ready to be entered, that is one of the many things that I am working on for the next release.

Here are some other misc. screenshots:

Upcoming release items:

Enter into buildings in Pallet and Veridian.
Add maps through Pewter, at the very least, might add all the way to cave.
Add Pokedex system, with all Pokemon
Add dynamic item menu
Add pokemon Party menu (not entirely sure how to accomplish this yet ;))

I might add other things as I get to it, but for now, this is what I am shooting for.

Oh, did I mention that this game, save 2 asm programs, the Titlescreen, which was made in rigview, and prgmRESOURCE, which allows the use of the archive, is made entirely in BASIC??

Well, I hope to see some english remarks in here, makes it easier than tryin to figure out the google translator ;)

As I get more info, I will post about it.

Edit:

This game is only about 2-3% complete.

perhaps 2-3% but it seems already amazing!
Using Rigview was a good idea, and I hope, you'll finish this game....
Good luck!
I wait it.... :#love#:

Will U use xLib tifreak8x ?

No, this game will be in as much BASIC as possible. :)

I'm waiting for it :D: :;):

Well, ascii graphics were the easiest to do. xlibman once challenged me to make a game from a developers kit I made a while back: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fi ... 36409.html

Since I wanted to push BASIC as far as possible, I chose to make a Pokemon game. :)

But dont worry, I plan on learning assembly, and remaking the game in that. :D:

Thanks for all the positive feedback thus far, here is a couple more screenshots:

Before, Bulbasaur in color:

After, Bulbasaur on the calc:

Don't worry, I have already fixed the pixel error there, I just haven't updated the pic yet. :)

Edit: Looks like your forum img tags don't like .bmp files either.... .

Edit2: Fixed links, now take a look at the images. :)
