As far as I know it doesn't matter that much to have the most up to date OS in the Netherlands? I mean, I don't think they will check every calculator. Or maybe your teacher is just very strict with that.
And yes, what critor says, you could try the dutch exam mode.

Boot linux from usb-stick on usb-hub not working?
Hmmm....
My father just checked if that possibly could be the problem and it isn't.
My usb-hub has a protection against that 'backfeeding'.
So then I don't know what the problem is...

Re: How to quit Nspire Linux?
Ah, ok.
And well, I still haven't got it working again with the usb-hub.
I found this article online. Might 'backfeeding' be the problem?

Re: How to quit Nspire Linux?
Hmmm. that doesn't seem to work. It gives exactly the same result as 'poweroff'...
And I suddenly seem not be able to use the usb-hub anymore...
I mean, yesterday I was able to use the usb-hub to boot from usb-stick and attach other stuff, but today it doesn't boot...
Why the hell can this be?

How to quit Nspire Linux?
I was wondering if there is a more elegant way to quit the nspire linux than resetting the calculator. I mean, I now do 'poweroff' and that works kinda. But then the linuxloader doesn't quit. How do I go back to the nspire OS without having to do a reset? Or is brute-force the only possible way? I a...

Re: Deleted OS of my Nspire CAS, can't send a new one [SOLVE
Well, yes it seems to work now.
So apparently the calculator only accepts an OS when it is deleted, if there are AAA batteries in the calc?
I mean, that is not really logical...
But putting AAA batteries in the calculator has solved the problem, thanks!

Re: Deleted OS of my Nspire CAS, can't send a new one
I don't have AAA batteries in it. I have a rechargeable battery.
Or does it really require that I also put AAA batteries in it then?
I would suppose there wouldn't be a problem with rechargeable battery if that is charged. Though I can't see how much the battery is charged...

Re: Deleted OS of my Nspire CAS, can't send a new one
I use TiLP, because I am on Linux. I also tried the official TI-Nspire Computer Link via the virtual machine, but that also gave an error. That said that the batteries were too low, though I can't imagine that since I had the calculator on the cable the whole time, so it shouldn't be that empty... I...

Re: Deleted OS of my Nspire CAS, can't send a new one
I don't know, but maybe it can help to add what the production code thing is. ( I actually don't know how to call it, you know, that code that contains the revision )
So that is: P-0510B

Deleted OS of my Nspire CAS, can't send a new one
I deleted the OS of my TI-Nspire CAS Touchpad via the maintenance menu, but now I can't send a new one to it. I was actually trying to get nLaunch on it, but that didn't send just nothing happens on the calc. It is completely stuck at the "Operating System ot found. Install OS now." screen...
