Re: is programming knowledge required for this calculator?
The HP Prime is very easy to use. For CAS, press CAS . Then main Math+CAS functions can be accessed with the toolbox key : https://tiplanet.org/forum/images/forum_uploads/2043_1535399256_5b845558a3e31.png For exemple, let's try to differentiate. is programming knowledge required for this calculator?
I bought this calculator because I thought it would help me with math but nothing makes sense. everything is confusing outside of doing basic math problems. It's embarrassing but I don't even understand how to properly use CAS mode nonetheless do advanced math on this thing. I can only sometimes get...

Re: is integration with division possible?
Hi, Logically, I think that you just have to put integration and in place of the dx in your examples, you put 1 and dx at the end of the line. Tell me if your problem has been solved. trying it your way this is what I get: https://tiplanet.org/forum/images/forum_uploads/161243_1522311361_5abca0c1b0...

is integration with division possible?
I am able to calculate normal integrals but I can not figure out how to calculate integrals with division. Every time I plug in a problem it gives me a syntax error. Here are some examples that I am struggling with: https://tiplanet.org/forum/images/forum_uploads/161243_1522272196_5abc07c4a6cc4.png

is the HP Prime capable of doing integrals?
How can I integrate on the HP prime? is there an app I can download or can it solve them natively?

Re: Need help calculating derivatives
Try this way (done with the Nspire CAS), using double round brackets: https://s9.postimg.org/80103v29b/limit.jpg Best, Hisham ;) when i plug it in that way i end up with https://tiplanet.org/forum/images/forum_uploads/161243_1519314837_5a8ee795e05b5.png :#roll#: :#roll#:

Re: Need help calculating derivatives
Yes, in CAS mode, there is also a template: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXwLiPlKO2M Best, Hisham ;) that method works for the easier problems but what about if I have something more complex like https://tiplanet.org/forum/images/forum_uploads/161243_1519146377_5a8c5589855e2.png

Need help calculating derivatives
I am having a hard time figuring out how to calculate derivatives on the HP Prime. Do I need to download a certain program or can I compute it directly in CAS mode?
