The high score systems are not compatible and you may lose them. * It is recommended that you perform a RAM clear before installing the game if you have had past problems with other programs freezing or corrupting memory. * When music is coming out of the linkport, there may be unexpected consequences to any non-speaker device plugged into that port. * Do NOT run the game if you have any buttons that are irreversibly stuck in the "down" position. Otherwise, the menus won't work. * Do NOT run the game if you have less than 23 bytes of RAM left on your calculator. ########################## # Installation # ########################## Simply transfer the appropriate .8xk file to your calc! You should then see it in the [APPS] menu. If you're new to this, and want to learn about how to transfer files, I would highly recommend this tutorial: http://www.ticalc.org/basics/linking/ ######################### # How To Play # ######################### Pyoro for the TI is based on a minigame from "WarioWare Inc". It also got ported to the DSi under a different name "Birds and Beans" Here is a video from the original game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk4cdb5uiCU Basically, you spit seeds at falling fruit. The more you get in a row, the higher your score. If fruit falls on the ground, that block will disintegrate and you will no longer be able to walk there. White fruit will restore a single block and flashing fruit will restore ALL the blocks and destroy all the remaining fruit. Fruit falls faster and more frequently as you continue playing. At 30,000 points, you will unlock the next mode of play. Each mode is different in game play, but the same controls apply. After getting 30,000 in every mode, you will unlock a new feature in the options menu. Controls: Left/Right Move around 2nd Fire seed Enter Pause the game Clear Quit the game ############################# # Version History # ############################# 2.0 (1/23/10) - Play all original Pyoro games and more! - Graphical redesign - Changing backgrounds (indication of score) - Auto-archive high score option - Unlockable features and surprises - No shells needed, now runs as an application - NSpire compatibility (but it might run slow) - New physics engine 1.2 (1/10/10) - Scoring is now identical to the original Pyoro - Restore blocks fall closest to you - Smoother grayscale and faster speed - USB cable can plug/unplug without freezing - Holding down 2nd doesn't hinder movement - Music comes standard and is slightly improved 1.1 (1/5/10) - Fixed major bug (now compatible with non-84s) - Music through the link port - Slight grayscale improvement 1.0 (1/1/10) - First Released Version ########################### # Special Thanks # ########################### I'd like to thank the revsoft.org community for helping me with all my assembly questions.
