The game takes all the RAM and some archive. -Choose the french version or english version -Send everything that is in the archive folder to the archive memory -Then send the RAM folder stuff in the RAM -Run ILLUSI11 to play WARNING: Because this game is still pure BASIC and cannot fit into RAM, it has been split into 5 chapters. Through the game, you will sometimes be asked to save, then manually archive/unarchive specific files, in order to continue. If you use many save files, please make sure to note which file was unarchived, so that if you reload the game from earlier you don't get ERR:ARCHIVED. The main controls are: Arrows: move, select options, interact with NPCs/bosses/etc Enter:Enter the menu/cancel (-):Exits the menu/cancel Other controls are explained in the game. Description: Returning to the Illusiat 8 and 9 battle style, Illusiat 11 was the most popular of the Illusiat games back in 2002, due partly to its unique battle command system where it was possible to change them between battles. For example, you could allow your character to use magic and items or other things such as viewing enemy HP and using special techniques. Only one or two extra commands could be added to the menu, depending on your level. In addition to that, it was the only game in the series to feature armors. You could also buy weapons or find secret equipment. The game was also pretty long compared to the others, although nowhere close as Illusiat 12. It also featured more side quests in general. It was translated to English in 2005 and a harder version came out in 2007, under the name Illusiat 11: Kin Master Quest. In this game, you control a young fighter called Kin. As the game starts, Kin is wandering near a forest, then suddenly disappears into another dimension, which he must escape (while also saving the Kingdom in there). Battles: Battles are pretty simple. Use the arrows to navigate and select commands. In addition to fighting and escaping, you can also use equipable battle commands, described below: COMMAND | LV | DESCRIPTION --------+-----+--------------------------------------------------------------- ITEMS | 2 | Allow using items in battle | | -HERB Restores 400 HP | | -POTION Restores 2000 HP | | -ETHER Restores 100 MP | | -ELIXIR Restores 9999 HP and 999 MP MAGIC | 5 | Allow using magic in battle | | -FIRE (5 MP) Causes fire elemental damage | | -ICE (5 MP) Causes ice elemental damage | | -BOLT (5 MP) Causes lightning elemental damage | | -CURE (10 MP) Restores HP TECH. | 9 | Allow using techniques in battle | | -AIM (7 MP) Regular attack that causes fewer damage, but has higher chance of missing | | -CRITIC (15 MP) Regular attack that causes extra damage, but has fewer chance of missing | | -1000 (31 MP) Always causes 1000 damage, with no exception | | -TRIMAG (47 MP) Huge magic spell using all 3 elements. If the enemy is weak against multiple elements, it causes insane damage. SCAN. | 14 | View enemy LV, HP, Exp, GP, weaknesses 2 CMD | 20 | Allow equipping two battle command instead of one WARP | 27 | Escape from non boss fights. The difference with RUN is that it has a 100% success rate. MONEY | 35 | Throw money at enemies to cause damage (like Coin Toss in Final Fantasy VI/VII). Ignores enemy defense, but costs A LOT of GP! Menu: Use arrows to navigate. The item command allows you to use items like in battles. The next command lets you equip different battle commands, which you acquire as you level up. Then there is the status screen, which lets you view your equipment and stats. Then you can save. Known bugs and issues: Although I have tried my best to fix as many issues as possible in this game way back in 2002, some might still remain today, such as the following: -In the final chapter, if you encounter the secret boss, it has no battle floor assigned to it. As a result, the battle floor used in the previous battle (or whatever was stored in the string variable before starting the game) will be shown as the floor. If that string doesn't exist, an ERR:UNDEFINED will occur. -Back in the days, TI-83+ BASIC tutorials were still not widely known. As a result, this game makes heavy (mis)use of the Goto command. ERR:MEMORY might occur from time to time, particularly if you have two save files. Make sure to save often. -Like every other Illusiat game, the English translation of this game might not be very good quality. It won't be as bad as Zero Wing for the Sega Genesis or The Reign of Legends 2, but you'll definitely notice that English isn't my native language. If you know French, you're better off playing the original version. -Like in previous Illusiat games, you can't see how many items of each kind you have in battle. This isn't generally a big problem, but it can be annoying during long boss fights. Disclaimers: -If you are going to use some part of the code in your games please give me some credits -Note that I can't be held responsible for any damage caused to your calc.
