[Solved] Nspire CX CAS - OS problem + battery

Message non lude blauemauritius » 05 Mai 2015, 14:39

Hello,

i have a Problem with the OS.

I have a TI-nspire CX CAS. I had installed OS 3.6 and ndless. I had installed a C++ program and i did modifications. Everything was fine. Today i made another modifications and the System crashed. Since then i have only a screen with a sand clock. I have tried to reinstall the OS, but after i sent the OS to my nspire, i have the sand clock again. :-(

After then i have tried to start the diagnostic menu as described here https://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=8944. But the diagnostic menu didn't start. Sand clock came back.

Does anyone have an idea what i can do?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Regards,
Frank

Ah you didn't tell me the diagnostic menu didn't start.

So either you did the trick wrong.
You have to :
  • press and hold all 3 keys :nses: :nsme: :nsmo:
  • without releasing those keys, press and release the 'reset' button on the back

Either the diagnostic has been deleted from your calculator.
Then, the only way is to disconnect and reconnect the rechargeable battery.

You wrote: Then, the only way is to disconnect and reconnect the rechargeable battery.

thank you critor. It works now. I had connected the TI with my Surface. That's the reason why the TI had energy without battery. :-)

Is there a possibility to close this subject as it is finished?
