Hi
I looked around and I saw no-one posted this here...

A year ago I tried this tutorial with a TI-84 plus rom and it didn't work, Now I tried it with a Silver Edition rom and it worked!

url: https://www.omnimaga.org/ti-nspire-projects/nspire-z80-open-source-ti-84-emulator-for-the-nspire-cx

Just download the .tns file and put it somewhere.
Rename the .rom file to .8rom and put it in the same file location.
Open the .tns file and a text box will open.
Now go to the .8rom file and press enter.
Now you have a working TI-84 Plus Silver Edition Emulator.

Owner : pbfy0
Bugs: screen has weird lines (not always).

The problem with mostly dead message boards such as Omnimaga is that the word doesn't spread as effectively as with alive message boards...

I was aware of the topic, but the replies (including yours) show that while it's pretty good work, it's not perfect.

some developers like you can work on it in your free time, right?, If I was a developer then I did it myself but I can't code in that language...
because this is a very good program, and many need it like me.

Somewhat related:
jacobly had resumed (possibly just a bit) his work on calcemu_cx a few months ago when he won a TI-Nspire CX CAS.
You should probably ask him about it.

Indeed, but I'm using my free time to work on other things... or nowadays, mostly reading about non-calculator-related stuff with wider applicability :)

wasn't calcemu_cx only for 3.0.1?

Probably not. I believed he has something more or less working now, or at least several months ago it was the case.

I do want to test his emu, if it works...
