Problem with Booting Nspire CX

Hi guys,

So I was trying to reset my nspire CX back into a normal state for my sister to use (I changed it from CX to CX CAS by installing ndless and what not) but turns out in the process I seem have to glitched the boot loader because when I try to reset I get this on my screen:

https://imgur.com/a/mw6BwKs

So I thought about opening up maintenance mode, turns out even though I'm pressing the correct combinations and trying to reset it, I get the same image as above with the cross.

Then I tried to open into diagnostic mode, and voila, the calculator just turns on its own and I can do any calculations. However, if I turn off the calculator or reset it, I get the same error with the cross.

Is there any way to perform a factory reset so that I can have this calculator back to normal?

I can speak French but not at a native level so I'm alright with replies in french as well.

Merci.

Hi.

Ok, according to the picture and your description you've got :
- a Boot1.5 image + nLoader but without a bootable Boot2 image in the Boot2 partition
- a bootable Boot2 image in the Diags partition

Get Ndless on the calculator.
Then get a NAND manager, like BtMg for example : archives_voir.php?id=10080
Launch it. It should show a boot=Boot2 on the bottom of the screen :

On BtMg, type
5
8
to switch it to boot=Diags.
Then exit with
0
and reset your calculator; it'll be a normal CX again. :)

Alright, that seems to have done the trick.

Merci beaucoup :D

That doesn't REALLY fix it. Why not flash the right boot2 in the partition?
