Pokemon Red Rescue Mystery Dungeon problem

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, most of the forum is in french and I do not currently know any french. On my TI Nspire CX I can't seem to run Pokemon Red Rescue Mystery Dungeon. It simply reboots the device and I have to reinstall ndless. I've tried with 2 different GBA.TNS files that claim themselves to be Pokemon Red Rescue Mystery Dungeon. What should I do? It runs every other game fine.

Nope, it does not run every other game fine. Zelda The Minish Cap for example works flawlessly until the last dungeon where it reboots.
Maybe your game is just incompatible with gpSP. Or maybe it's just too big to fit in RAM.
In the first case, there's nothing to do. In the second case, you can try zipping the ROM:
  • get a rom somewhere (either a .gba on a rom site or a .gba.tns here (or elsewhere) that you rename to just .gba)
  • zip it (if you have the choice between compression modes, use the one that compresses most)
  • name the .zip the same as the .gba, not counting the extension (I mean that "name.gba" gives "name.zip")
  • rename your zip to add the .tns extension and try to launch that in gpSP

Unfortunately, gpSP has got a lot of incompatibilities, for exemple, in Mario Golf Advance Tour, you cannot even create a character (it reboots either the Nspire or the virtual GBA :p)

Hi! I had the same problem as the OP. I tried zipping the file, but now I get a white screen (at least it doesn't reboot :P)

I downloaded the one from this website, so it should have worked. I'll try zipping it.
