c'est un vieux tuto non compatible avec la version 4.2, qui oblige à faire le downgrade avant de faire manipulation. la version 2.7, il y a le "readme" qui sert de tuto (compatible avec la version 4.2)

@Hamza.S There is no more recent tutorial, and anyway the whole transformation in itself is a downgrade.
No CAS OS 3.6+ is going to boot properly.

From what I've quickly read here and there, you basically just have to downgrade to 3.1 (ndless and nsNandMgr should help you with that) and follow the tutorials to get CAS.
But maybe there's a quicker way, I haven't really followed the process about all that recently.
However:
1) Putting CAS on non-CAS calculators is definitely forbidden in the context of exams that want non-CAS only, if that's your case ; and TI-Planet of course doesn't condone such cheating.
2) Maybe you might be interested in KhiCAS instead of the CAS OS, an alternative CAS engine (requires Ndless, so you don't need nLaunchy things or anything else, it's "just" a .tns to open, basically, and works on recent OSes like 4.2)

Well, in my country there is no any restriction to use Cas, so like I really need that SO I was trying to follow the tutorial....
Like I had SO 4.2 what I do to follow the tutorial was:
Part B
1) delete the ndless resorces 3.6
2) replace the installer for installer 4.2
after that only two changes I installed the ndless and run nsNandMgr
but in the tutorial, in part C, To installing nlaunchy, says:
If it does not fit, delete files in other files but keep in all cases 'ndless_ressources' and 'ndless_ressources_36' in the 'Ndless'.
so.....will I have problems because I erased 'ndless_ressources_36'???
and in my case is neccesary to rename the file 'phoenix.old.tns' folder 'nlaunch' to 'phoenix.tns' in part C1??
I don't try to install nlaunch yet because I suposse that I will have more problems with the boot and I going to brick the CX
However......If I want to install khiCAS, with the changes that I already did, like already use nsNandMgr, will I have any problem?

I'll let more knowledgeable people reply about the nLaunchy things, but regarding KhiCAS, it should work as-is (well, with Ndless installed) on your CX, from OS 3.1 to 4.2. Just transfer the things (see the included readme, IIRC) and launch the .tns file on your calculator. Note that this doesn't let you use programs that require CAS, it's rather a new "calculator app" that has a CAS engine (the same as the HP Prime, actually)

So you've got Ndless 4.2 - perfect.

I don't understand how erasing the 3.6 file in your case could prevent things from fitting...
That note is here especially for non-CX Nspire users, who only have 32MB instead of 128MB.

Except for the beginning (OS+Ndless 4.2 in your case), everything else is mandatory.
