Help - How to Update OS on my TI-nspire CAS ?

Greetings to All the Forum :)

I am a newbie and I wanted to ask a question
I bought a TI-nspire CAS Clickpad No-Prototype, with the following characteristics:
- Version OS: 1.1.9170
- Version Boot1: 1.1.8916
- Version Boot2: 1.1.8981

I tried to install version 3.9.0.463 of the OS, but my attempts have failed.
I tried to install other older versions, but failing miserably :(
It would seem that I am condemned to use only version 1.1.9170 on this calculator,
but I have seen that some person managed to update it.

Some good soul, if you know the way to do it, You could explain the method to follow :)

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for your help Lionel :)

A few days earlier, I had tried with version 1.7.1.50, but it was not installed,
now the version 1.7.2741 how you suggested was installed perfectly!!! :)

Damn!!! ... I feel stupid, sorry :P :)

Now what do I continue?
And to what version do you recommend I install?

Thanks :)

Good :)

You might want to stay at OS 3.1.0.392, where some Lua graphics operations are slow, or 3.6.0.546, where these Lua operations are more efficient. OS 3.9.0.463 brings little functionality over 3.6.0.546, and it's larger still, to the point that it leaves little usable memory on the calculators, so you'll get "out of memory" errors fairly often if you deal with nontrivial programs.

Before installing one of the 3.x OS, install OS 2.1.0.631. Or switch to nLaunchy as an alternate way to launch OS, we have good tutorials about that.

Again thanks Lionel :)

It does not seem true :#fou#: :D

I try to follow the advice you gave me.
I'm going to also read the Tutorial on nLaunchy.
If there are difficulties, I do live in this thread

Merci Beaucoup :)
